There are probably some commands under Vista that are different from XP, just as there no doubt arequite a few between the MS-DOS 6 command set and XP (otherwise you could run MS-DOS games easily under XP). What they are? Don't know. How many? Probably quite a few changes between 6's implementation and XP, and Vista. Between XP and Vista? ???

The answer are in your hands now go try it. Go to start run:

Type:
> msconfig, to edit unwanted services and start ups.
> regedit, if you want to edit registry

You could go to DOS commands:

Go to start, programs, accessories, command prompt.
Type: "help" all commands will appear your free to choose.

Happy exploring, remember if your in doubt of a certain dos commands. Don't do it ask for assistance.
