How do i fix my camera?

Ok so my camera is broken. it wont turn on and the little zoom this is sticking halfway out. its not that the battery's are dead because iv'e change them and it didn't make any difference. Someone please help!!

stuck zoom is caused by misuse - its mounts are bent

Camera repair is NOT a "do it yourself" project - unless you're a trained repair technician. Look through your Owner's Manual. Somewhere in it you should see a little lightning bolt icon by this: " WARNING! Do not attempt to disassemble camera. Severe electrical shock may result!"

Inside your camera is something called a capacitor. It stores several thousand volts of electricity to fire the flash. While its unlikely to be fatal it can sure hurt like heck and maybe even give you a nasty burn.

Your camera has probably achieved paperweight status. Start shopping for a new camera.

There is no magic solution that will fix your camera. You just have to send it back to the manufacture if it is still under warranty or take it to a camera repair shop if the warranty has expired. If the shop tells you it will cost more than $100 to fix, it is time to junk it and buy a new one.

usually youll find people whove had the same problem and what they had to do to fix it.

youll probobly have to take it in for repairs though

if you bought it at walmart, take it back and tell them you clicked the power button and it made the other thing stick. my cousin took hers back twice, first bcuz the screen was scratched (she said when shed click delete one itd delete em all), and the second she said taht she tried to take out the bat. and the lil plastic thing busted when she really dropped it and it broke. so this should tell you no one at walmart gives a **** about anything, they will replace ur cam.
