I tried over the counter wipes once, and they didn't seem to have any effect whatsoever. Just this past Monday I took my 5 month old kitten to the vet, and she put a drop of Revolution (available by prescription only) behind his ear, and that evening the fleas had already started dropping off and dying. It also helps get rid of ear mites, some type of worms, and prevents heartworm disease. You should ask your vet about it.

The best thing to use is Johnson's Baby Shampoo. It won't hurt their eyes and it kills fleas on contact. I know it sounds crazy, but it actually works my vet suggested it to me several years ago and I've used it both kittens and dogs. It won't keep fleas from getting back on them, but it is safe and there is not much out there that you can safely use on kittens until they get older.

It depends on the age of the kitten but you should get them Flea Medicine which is sold at your local pet store. If it is a long drive still do it, its worth it.

Depends on their age. If they are older than 8 weeks, you can use a product called Frontline Plus on them. The stuff is wonderful and you only have to apply it once a month. Make sure you de-flea your house.

Go to a vets for proper treatment, stay away from store-bought stuff at all costs! Do NOT feed them garlic!! If they're younger than 8 weeks of age, it will have to be Frontline spray, which is safe for use on kittens from 2 days of age.#

It will depend on their age, some things are harmful to kittens. If you have a vet, call and see what he suggests. If you don't, call one from the yellow pages or an animal clinic and ask their recommendation for the cats and getting rid of them in your home or they will get them again. If they go outside, they will bring them back in also.

depending on how old the kittens are, you can try using some shampoo called Sergeants Skin Flea & Tick Shampoo for cats. if the kittens are younger than 12 weeks old, you wont be able to use it on them though. with this shampoo, you need to wet the kittens with warm water, then lather them good and let it set for 5 minutes before rinsing. make sure to get all the shampoo off them and to use a washcloth wet with water and a drop or 2 of the shampoo to wipe their faces and around the ears, and be careful not to get it in their eyes, then rinse well. wrap the kittens in a warm towel and dry them thoroughly. i usually put my cats in a carrier, cover it with a towel and have my hairdryer blowing warm air into the carrier for about a half hour or so, then let the cats out to dry themselves before brushing them with a cat brush. repeat the shampoo treatment in 2 weeks. good luck!

Depending on their age, use either frontline or advantage. Do not use anything over the counter....Seargents, Hartz, Zodiac....This stuff is VERY harsh on them and they are most likely too young for it anyway. I have used Advantage numerous times with great success. I costs a little more, but it's worth it I promise!!!
