Oh sure, I'm supposed to believe that someone said, "let there be light," and POOF! The world was created.
NOT.
Please do some research.

Yes. Right. There is little argument against microevolution. I still believe there is not adequate evidence for macroevolution, though I'm taking a fresh look at the evidence offered. But even if all life evolved from a single genetic ancestor, what is the source of the mechanism of DNA? Does it look more like something that was designed, or does it look more like something that just happened? ID is an observation, not a theory. It doesn't imply God. Any theist would have a difficult time accepting the idea that life just happened. I don't think anything beyond that is sacred. I also don't think Genesis 1 was intended to be a scientific account.

You are confusing several issues. Evolution does not deal with the origins of life, that would be abiogenesis. Evolution on it's own is an undisputable fact. The fossil record is a clear indication of it's past and evolution continues even now.

I'll stand with you as a creationist. I'm not that intelligent but I do have some common sense. Why don't these people come up with some good answers about why the earth's magnetic field is young, why soft tissue was found in dinosaur bones, why carbon dating is so unreliable, why there is evidence of a world-wide flood, why birds fly in formation, why lava looks very old a few hours after it cools? And what about their beloved 2nd law of thermodynamics? Things are not evolving. They are obviously devolving. What's going on with all the birth defects like autism? The silence is deafening.

You're right! What /was/ I ever thinking, what with the piles and piles of research and empirically collected evidence that points to evolution and abiogenesis...how could I have been so blind?!! I'm such a fool for not realizing that some blood-drinking sky-daddy who is so amazing that it didn't need anything to create it and somehow magically existed before anything was able to exist just spoke some words and WHAM we were all here! How stupid I've been!
Oh wait, that's right - you're an idiot. Phew, for a second there I thought I'd lost my ability to reason.

I consider myself too intelligent to NOT believe in evolution. And besides, evolution isn't a belief, it's science. You either accept the evidence presented or you don't. There is no belief involved. Your argument lacks substance.

Well so far it's the intelligent ones that do believe in evolution, It's the religious programed wing nuts that are having a hard time in todays world.

Just like you're too smart to believe in books and thinkamatating. Or them new-fangled compuatation-machines.
Hey Shadows: I'd probably be more inclined to take your answer with anything other than a dose of penicillin if you had spelled half of the words in it right. Seriously, if you'd have gotten just 51%, I'd have been happy.

Yes, until you attend an 8th grad science class and learn about it. Evolution doesn't say life from non-life. It doesn't say order from disorder, and I don't see the problem with this? Unless you don't believe snowflakes are real.

Evolution never existed, but those who believe in what another mere fallible man says (Darwin, to be exact) are just plain gullible and naive. In the minds of those who believe in Darwin's evolution bunk, they're saying "Darwin was a scientist, so he MUST be right; Darwin said it, I believe it and that settles it". It proves my point that anyone can spurt out a theory, belief or any ridiculous notion or idea and soooooooo many people are brainwashed into believing it - just like that. It just shows me how gullible and naive people can be - that's all.
One thing is certain: NO mans' theories can disprove the bible - God's Word. God is perfect. He is without sin and is unchangeable, which means simply that God's can be trusted 100% - man's word cannot because man is finite and fallible - God is not - Amen - :)
To Lynci above: You must be blind if you do not see the evidence of God all around you: the animals, trees, grass, insects, the stars, the moon, the sun, - HUMANS - I mean, open your eyes, girl. God has given witness of Himself to all through His creation - just look around you. All that you see, God created! Get out of your imaginary world and return to the real one with the rest of us (those who are smart enough to realize God created the earth and man, that is - :)
