Average height?

The average height is growing bigger, because woman like tall guys and that will make their children tall, and so on. The average height for a man was 5'9, but now its like 5'10 to 6'0. my sis is 13 and 5'8. the average heaight for a woman was 5'3, but now its like 5'6. what do you people think about this?is it true to you?

it's true to an extent... think about it (i learned it in biology last year LOL) since we have so many recourse's now-a days, we use them to our advantage, therefor, the more recourse's we have, the larger we'll be because we actually have the nutrition to grow. But like in china lets say, the people don't get much over 5'5" because there's a lot less food than there is in America, people here (America) are going to be larger. we arnet getting larger because girls like tall guys or anything, we're just simply getting bigger because of all the new technology's and everything else (I'm not talking about computers... I'm talking about genetic engineering which allows us to make food bigger and more of it... so yea, since there's more of whatever we need, we in turn get larger. but - also something else - it's genetics most of all... if you have a 5'0 mom and a 5'5 dad, your kid doesn't have a large chance of being 6' lol unless one of the grandparent's is fairly tall!

Actually the average height of an American male is 5'7". we ARE getting taller, geration by generation, but it's a very small difference. And just becuse some women like tall guys, doesn't mean the guys grow taller! Tall men are in the minority.

I think it's cool that women and men have a change in their height from before till now. It's nothing that bad. I mean, you're just growing taller and that can have disadvantages or advantages to some people.
