If you were to approach someone's door and were met with a gay couple, what would be your response?
I don't mean this sarcastically, I would just honestly like to know

I would also just like to add that this is not just for Jahova's witnesses, mostly for all very religious Christians. I just specified Jahova's witnesses because they are generally the ones that would approach houses

My response would be the same as to anyone else I met. I would present the Bible's message, what they choose to do with that message is up to them. It doesn't mean I agree with their lifestyle, anymore than I would agree with a couple (man and woman) that are living together but not married. We talk to many people and present them with a Biblical message, they choose whether or not to let that message influence them.

I would treat them the say as I would treat anyone who comes to the door. I am there to share a message from the bible about God's kingdom. Not to condemn their lifestyle. I would only address the subject of their lifestyle if they asked me a question about it, and then I would only show them what the bible says and that everyone can make changes if so inclined and have Jehovah's forgiveness.
It is their lifestyle we hate, not the person.
Someone living together, whether they are heterosexual or homosexual, is still wrong in God's eyes, both are committing fornication.

--AS A Jehovah's Witness, I have had that experience with gays & lesbians, and we at times have had some good conversations!
--THEY are people just as you and I , ITS the act that is a perversion not the people!
--AS A JW for over 40 years , I do not have the notion of everyone I talk to being an attender of our kingdom hall, nor a potential witness!
--WORLD CONVERSION is the churches aim, we present a message and if people wish to hear more, than we provide more information!
--IF THEY want to know about the God of Christ , Jehovah , then we supply as accurate information as to his personality!
--IT IS not easy to become a witness, so we make that clear in that there is a lot of opposition, and faithfulness to both Jehovah God & Christ is the primary requirement!

We would be very respectful. We would not go on the attack and start ripping them apart with the scriptures for their lifestyle. We want to attract not attack. We are there to share with them a beautiful scripture from Jehovah's Word the Bible.
We would invite them to our Kingdom Hall.
We would never protest or picket as some other Religions do in front of a gay event. We are taught to love our neighbors as ourselves and help them learn about Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ.
Nice talking to you. Have a nice day.

I'm not a Jehova's Witness but, if I encountered a gay couple, any where, I would treat them respectfully. As a matter of fact there is a child in one in my 10 year old grand children's class at school who has two men as his parents. My grandson has been taught to treat this child just the same as the other children and my daughter and son-in-law treat the men with respect. You should be respectful and kind to other people, even if you don't agree with them.

A typical Jehovah's Witness minister would be unsurprised at certain signs that a householder likely engages in fornication.
The bible does not teach that homosexual fornication is more sinful than heterosexual fornication, so there seems no reason to believe that Jehovah's Witnesses would treat apparent homosexual fornicators differently than other sinful householders.

Im not one of them but I used to know some of them, and my sisters one of them. I dont think they'd bring it up at the door because at the door they're more focused on getting to return to have a real study with you. At that time or sooner or later afterword they'll show you a scripture to show you where its Biblicly wrong.
The point it makes is interesting.

invizillia does not understand the difference between a christian and a jehovah's witness, hense an inexact answer.
I did not see any JW answers to your question, so I will tell you a bit about them, and how they operate.
the JW have a guide which prescribes how they witness. That guide is the literature they offer (asking for donations). The goal of the JW is to get you to join and become a stead fast member of the kingdom hall.
JW see everyone as a feild of evangelism, and gays should be no different. Although they offer a counterfiet Jesus, (i'm ready to defend this statement), they do nevertheless see the gay as an open door to teach and convert.
the only ones I have knowledge of that they run away, are mormons, moonies, and some cults like that.

Honestly, I would go ahead and continue talking with them like normal. Hopefully it wouldn't stumble me any but if it did a little, it wouldn't much.
I view people who pursue things like homosexuality like others who don't share my beliefs, they are people who've decided to live differently.

LMAO When Jehovah's witnesses come to your door it's to share with you their beliefs. I would never expect to see some one open the door and say, "hi I'm gay." who the hell talks about their sexual preference when confronted with a religious person sharing their beliefs?
