ive liked this guy for quite some time, but never got the courage to say anything to him, and he got a girlfriend over the summer and they are still dating, but then my best friend was told by one of my guy friends that he liked me, i don't like him for anything more than a friend. What should I do?

I do not know why you think you are in a love triangle.What you have here is a guy you like who is currently dating a girl. From what you write, you have no romantic interest in the guy, and you like him platonically.Because, a friend tell's you he likes you,does not create a triangle.You will have a triangle if you like this guy romantically, start dating him, he continues to date his current girlfriend, you know he is dating the both of you,and it makes no difference to you.Since you never had the courage to say anything to him,don't like him as a boyfriend, and are not dating, there is absolutely nothing for you to do than continue living your life

Be honest with the guy who likes you. If he's your friend, he should understand. As for the guy you've liked for some time, forget about him, he's got someone else. You didn't have the courage to tell him you liked him, so in essence, you snooze, you lose.
This isn't a love triangle.

First just breath its going to be okay. If you dont like the guyfriend then just tell him and be honest dont lead him on. You seem like you like him as a friend so dont hurt him. The other guy i would let him know but i would not try to break him and his girl up it just might be a big crush. If he does not feel the same its ok there will be a better guy out there. Just remeber honesty is the best way to go. Good luck.

leave it be, dont get involved if he has a gf, bc then that adds soo much drama, if he breaks up w/ her, tell him that its a mistake
