I wouldn't want any meds in my wife if we were trying to get pregnant for at least 4 months, It's in a doctor's best interest to keep you medicated, so I would talk to a pediatrician and a nutritionist. The physician's Desk Reference will have info on meds and side effects, even the meds your husband takes may hurt your baby. Itake meds for prostate and it cannot even be handled by women, I told my Pharmacist and she was pregnant and didn't know. Be cautious

First, you need to check with your OB about what meds are acceptable to take. One of your ADHD meds may be on the list.
Since ADHD people are generally opposite of normal people--i.e. an amphetamine slows you down--it would follow that anything that revs your engine should calm you down. I've tried this on my son--he's 17 and ADD. The other night, he wanted to stay up late so he could study, so he drank a whole glass of strong, caffienated iced tea. 10 minutes later, he was asleep.
I know that drs. now frown on too much caffiene, but I also know that my mom drank potfuls when pregnant with me, and everything was fine.
I'm going to leave you with a resource that may help you find a drug or food that could help you while you're enciente.

Yes there is. It is called EEG biofeedback also known as neurofeedback therapy. It is a safe and effective alternative method approved by the American Psychological Association for the treatment of ADD/ADHD. Do some research on the web using keywords "neurofeedback and ADHD". To begin to learn about neurofeedback, click on my website below.

I believe that this is a very good question. I want to be accurate and complete for the sake of the baby and you, so please bear with me. I am striving for accuracy as opposed to brevity.
Yes, there are a number of ways to treat AD/HD without medication. I am a guy and I am not married, but if I understand correctly you are Trying To Conceive and are concerned about medication affecting the development of your baby.
I know nothing about babies, but I do have AD/HD. I primarily display behaviors that are associated with Type 5 AD/HD (limbic system hyperactivity with obsessive symptoms). In my case the obsessive symptoms present as mild anxiety and OCPD. Severe chronic depression accompanies this type of AD/HD. To a lesser degree I also display behaviors that are associated with Type 2 and Type 3 AD/HD.
