Considering he talked about hell more than he talked about heaven, he was the latter... although his followers like to refer to the former.

I was going to say 'ultra-accepting,' but then I decided that since I personally have never been poked in the eye with a hot stick, I may not be completely qualified to compare the two.

in my opinion, yes Jesus was and is the ultra accepting type.
Example-Look around you at the world , the people , the pain , and the drama. If he wasn't the ultra accepting type there would be none of those things.

Well, he went so nuts that he ran and overturned tables where people were exchanging their currency so they could buy animals to sacrifice, since they couldn't carry them the long distances they had come from. And these money changers were NOT doing anything illegitimate or corrupted whatsoever, nor were they doing it in the wrong place. The Christian bible lies about that. Jesus's family thought he had lost his mind, and came to try to collect him and lock him up for it.

Then he cursed a fig tree when it wasn't even in season for figs. Real nice, huh.

He taught to hate your mother and father.

He taught Jews to go AWAY from the Torah and break it.

He instigated men to leave behind their families and wives in poverty and follow him (Jewish law prohibits a woman from remarrying unless she is divorced first, but these men didn't divorce their wives, thereby leaving them in limbo with no provider for their children, sending many of them into the streets to beg for food)

So, I'd say he was the poke in the eye with a hot stick type, and a hypocrite besides hiding behind talk of peace while doing all these horrific things, and more. By the way, these are the exact opposites of what the real Messiah would do.

Jesus is tolerant of everyone, but not accepting of everything. He loves everyone but will get in your face and tell you what you are doing is wrong. He wouldn't poke you in the eye, but He will Judge you one day.

Where does it say in the Bible that Jesus ever struck anyone? He was the prince of peace. He never poked anyone.

Jesus was a man who wanted to end corruption in this world.
He also wanted people to change their bad ways before they turn evil.
The Adam and Eve myth is a lie!
Also, even Jesus,Mary, Joseph, god, and the angelic people upstairs have their limits on forgiveness.

I don't think He was one or the other...I think He was both, depending on the situation.
