It is now crystal why my grandson abruptly left his father and step mother.They were doing all they could to bring peace, love & stability into this child's life for past 2 years.
"Mom" allegedly promised him no rules!Told him that she wasn't in it for the child support.She & her husband's love was the ONLY reason for his return to their home.
Child support papers came today. Dad called son & told him as he apparently wasn't told by his "mom."
I'm truly frightened for this young man, as he is seriously angry for being "played" & has made terrible choices under stress in the past.
His father let him use expensive shotguns when he lived with them.They are still here! His father told him tonight that they will be sold,help pay the child support.
Should I notify the police in the boys town or his school? He has access to his grandfathers shotgun, & using it to practice trap shooting. His grandfather is clueless or possibly involved in his return home.

what are you going to notify the police about? if the grandson is at his mother's, how will he get guns at his father's.
has the grandson threatened to use a gun on someone? if he has, talk with his father about it... if not, leave it alone.
his father needs to deal with this... ex spouses can be bitter with each other -- this isn't anything new. sorry the grandson made a bad choice, but sometimes we need to learn from our mistakes.
