You can sneak in some exercise in the form of walking. And it can be fun if you take a friend (or dog) along with you.
Drinking at least 8, 8-ounce glasses of water every day will help you lose weight, also. It makes you feel full, so you won't want to eat as much. But, more importantly, it will keep your body burning calories at a higher rate.
Added later: I am only 5'1" and can easily put on weight because my body is smaller than most peoples', thus I cannot eat as much as most people. Here is what I do: I eat every single thing I want to...I just eat VERY LITTLE OF IT. And I eat slowly. I am 46 and still weigh 107 pounds.

I feel the same as you. If its walking on a treadmill, you can shove it. The key is to try a lot of different activities and find one that doesn't seem like exercise. I came across Tae Kwon Do in my search for exercise that isn't like exercise. Its the best, at least for me. As far as the food goes, you have to make better decisions. Maybe get the single serving package of chips instead of the family size and get a grilled chicken sandwich instead of a crispy. Eat smaller portions, that way you get the taste but not as many calories.

Face it, looking good takes hard work. You must be willing to sacrifice SOMETHING, or you get NOTHING!!!! Simple as that. So, you must decide how much losing weight/being healthy means to you. If you are fat, you will have to cut certain things out of your diet. You will have to exercise. No, exercise, for the most part, is not fun, but boy the results sure are! You can do this, no problem! Don't fall for the hype you hear and see on TV. You must sacrifice some things to achieve the body you want.

My sister lost a lot of weight by using the tips and ideas from Fatloss4Idiots at http://www.grabsometips.com/fatloss4idiots.html and by doing pushups and situps in the morning and the same in the evening.
She followed the suggestions from the website and still ate good food! One of the secrets to losing weight is to eat at least 6 small meals a day. This increases your metabolism which helps tone your body and melts off the fat!
I hope this will help you.

If you drink a lots of canned soft drinks or anything with "carbonated water" I think it's called, cut some (not all...god it's hard to go cold turkey on that stuff), and find a sport that you like.
Carbonated water I guess adds weight, I've seen people who lose massive weight just from cutting it out, and a fun sport will make you exercise and tone up AND have fun! :D
Hope this helps...
