i have allot of stories of people harrasing me for accidently mistaking me for a muslim during 9/11. during 9/11 when i walked down the hallways of my school people would throw stuff at me or swear at me, i want to hear other stories from other sikhs and remeber that be proud of being a sikh dont cut your hair because your scared that means that they win.

people are just the rudest things on this planet. I'm sorry this has happened to you. No matter what your religion is I bet you are a pretty cool person. let your personality shine and don't give a hoot to the jerks that think you are less than them, in reality its them that need to crawl in a hole and perhaps be eaten by snakes.

religion is a way of life, sikh is one chosen form "way of life". living in the U.S. is another thing "way of life".
your learned way of life will no longer works in another land. don't you think, its only time to make adjustment since you have chosen to change location. its not an abuse, i think it's a call for you.
