The REAL Jesus
There is "another Jesus" that is not the REAL Jesus of
the Bible (2 Cor. 11:4). Salvation can only take place
only through faith in the REAL Jesus. Faith in
"another Jesus" cannot save anyone. So how can you
tell if you have the REAL Jesus?
The Jesus of the Bible...

and Zech. 13:9 with 1 Cor. 1:1-2
-- is worshiped - Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; 28:9;
John 9:35-38; Heb. 1:6
-- is called God - John 20:28; Heb. 1:8; Isa.
9:6
-- is the ONLY way to God - John 14:6; Acts
4:12
-- did not come to bring peace, but a
sword - Matt. 10:34
-- tells us to fear God - Matt. 10:28
-- tells us that the world will hate us - John
15:18-19, 17:14
-- tells us Christians can expect to suffer -
Matt. 5:45; John 16:33; Heb. 11:35-38; 1 Pet.
4:12; 1 John 3:13
-- commands us share the gospel - Matt.

The Holy Spirit in me testifies to the truth that He is the real Jesus. He cannot lie .

To begin with, there is no second Jesus. Even though the Word of God tells us that in the last days deceivers shall come, and that there shall be an antichrist. Believe me, if you do not know if you have the real Jesus or not, then chances are, you have never been born again. Because after a person becomes a child of God, they will have peace in their soul, they will not have to walk in fear, they will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in their heart at all times. Even though every Christian goes through hard times, one who is truly seeking to follow God, will always have the faith that the Bible teaches us of. And the way that we make our faith to grow, is by reading and meditating in the Word of God. It sounds to me like you need to get on your knees before God, and clarify this matter once and for all. All that you must do, is to ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins, and to come into your heart by faith. Believe me, you will know that He has done so, if you are sincere. For He said that if a person be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, and all things will become new. (2 Cor. 5:17 & 1 John 1:9) You will have new desires, and your life will become totally different. I know that you may know a lot of Bible verses, but that is not what makes you a Christian. So make certain that you are not depending upon what you know from the Bible, as your foundation of your Christianity. Remember the verse from John 14:6.

Hey, please, don't get neurotic about this subject. Every ones concept of jesus is their own. Personally, I see jesus as a Mediterranean. Dark hair, dark eyes, non Caucasian skin, average height, actually looking quite like an Iranian, or an Iraqi, or a Palestinian, or a Macedonian. But defiantly not white. As far as his being the child of god, I have never accepted that. I do, however, accept that he was a pacifist, very intelligent, very perceptive, had the values of the golden rule, and had wonderful leadership skill. I do accept the philosophy of the ten commandants. And, I am an atheist.

As usual, you hit things right on the head with that hammer, the sword of truth , actually.
We will know if we have the real Jesus by the things you say, and by knowing God and His word, that teach us the teachings of Jesus Christ. If something doesnt line up with the full word of God, line upon line, precept upon precept, it is not truly of God. You are correct.
Tho on one thing, I need to add to it. Jesus doesnt want us to suffer, tho we will, to some degree at the hands of the wicked ppl who hurt us But, when we know that Jesus suffered so we wont have to, we can call about God to take care us and take that suffering away. There is power in the blood of Jesus, thru the Holy Spirit we are given that gives us power and it is to lead and guide us so we can see we are able to overcome sin, and not just stirve and whine to get past it. the secret is obedience, the first key. as God says obedience leads to blessing, and disobedience leads to curse. that did nto change at the cross. we do not have to freedom to continue to sin and expect grace to cover it. GOD FORBID was the reponse that that, remember??? WE are given the freedom and the power to say Yes to Jesus and no to sin, Once we make that committment, know who God is and who we are in Christ, and the power we have to overcome anddo it all Gods way, we are on the right track. Becoming born again is truly another key, when we are born of God we cant sin. See 1 John 3:9. We cant deliberately sin as sin doesnt live in us, Jesus does. We may sin and not know its sin, but we wont deliberately sin. We will hate sin as bad as God does when our desires line up with His desires. WE are to have the character of Christ, and the rest falls into place.
Soon, we will be raptured home and other are left to go thru the great tribulation. But even then, they still get another chance. What a loving God we serve, a patient God. How can anyone say No to this Jesus? HOW. What else do you think He need to do for you to be worthy of your love and obedience???? Ask yourselfs today if Jesus came right this second, would you be saved? I pray all who are truly seeking will soon find Jesus, and committ, cuz we dont have long yet.
Jesus is coming soooo soon, sooner than we realize, the signs are all around us of His soon return.
Find Jesus today. Ask Him to be so real to you that you cannot miss these truths. I will pray, as others will.
Bless you who do seek.

Because I can feel him in my heart. And I have done a lot of changing for the better since I met him.I am still striving for change.I know some people take that comment as a cop out when we sin, but I NEVER want to become complacent ,thinking I am all I can be in Christ ,because I KNOW he has more for me and I will continue to grow until he takes me home.
