Yes. It in Windows.

Go to Start --- All Programs --- Accessories and search for Microsoft Movie Maker.

All kinds of crappy ones. For windows, the best free one is windows movie maker 2

yes there are some free Linux video editing software packages do a web search for:-

free+video editing software+windows

if you do some research into linux operating system you will find that it is free.. and all the software you will ever need comes free also..

Linux puts windows to same,,, try it out... you can download it and run it from a CD,, using all the software, without installing it on your computer

download it from any of these sites below.. check each version out
