Sony is now no longer making the 20GB version of the PS3. they are in uncomplicated terms making the 60GB version. except you discover a 20GB PS3 on the internet someplace, you is purely no longer waiting to purchase one anymore. Sony became dropping funds with the 20GB version, so now they are in uncomplicated terms transport the 60GB version. on the different hand, the version between the two (while the 20GB became available) became the confusingpersistent length needless to say, and the 60GB version got here with BlueTooth and WiFi however the 20GB did no longer. the greater advantageous $one hundred have been given you 40 greater Gigs of confusingpersistent area, BlueTooth and WiFi, which for my area, became genuinely nicely genuinely worth the greater advantageous $one hundred. desire this helps. good success!

60GB has an Emotion Engine chip for backwards compatibility with PS1/PS2 games. 80GB won't have it due to cost's reduction. If you're from Europe - it's all the same - there was no Emotion Engine since the beginning. Also (rumor) 80GB has better wi-fi antenna.
