okay, so I met this guy the other day at the community college where I take dual-credit courses. I'm 17 and he's 20. He just like, randomly came up and started talking to me. He's asked me out three times in the last three days, which makes me a little wary. He seems like a nice enough guy though, intelligent and everything. But I don't frequently get hit on by older guys, so I don't know what to make of this. He doesn't make me feel uncomfortable or anything, but I'm a minor and he's not. So, what are this guy's intentions? I'm just kind of confused by it....

this means ur not comfortable with having a relationship with this guy right now and its ok to feel like that. don't push urself into anything u dont want to... just tell him clearly that ur not ready to go out with anyone at the moment... he will understand and stop asking u and i am sure he will be mature enought to understand without taking it in a bad way so that both of you can just get to know each other better

First young lady you are noty a minor in the eyes of the law. You are above 16 and legal age of consent. Plus hes 20 for god sakes not 45, you should be happy that he finds you attractive and most likely polite and nice to talk to. Strange question to ask here and i cant figure were you came up with teh minor thing, inless your parents drill that into your head. A minor is anything less then 15 , you are 17 and soon 18 so be happy how bad can coffee or a donut be.

Just tell him you won't date anyone older than you until you turn 18.
He'll stop bothering you---he probably doesn't realize you are a minor.

You have to be careful and if he's really seriously interested you could ask him to wait or something.....see how that goes but go with your heart...or maybe not...lol...What do your parents think?
