I have Windows vista basic I am planing on getting photoshop CS2 for it, its much cheaper than CS3 I just want to know if it will work on vista and what are the glitches I know that CS3 work on Vista but it cost to much right now and I dont like to wait for the price to go down that might take about 2 years maybe. What do you think?

CS2 runs fine on Vista.
CS3 is much better and well worth the money. Buy it.
Vista Home Basic really sucks, try upgrading to Home Premium.
You want at least 2GB or RAM to run this.

Is the subject with downloading or with installation? I even have CS3 working super on one Vista device and CS4 on yet another, so i'm not sure Vista is to blame right here. while you're having trouble installation it, are you doing so as Admin? attempt suitable clicking on the setup document and choose Run As Administrator.
