One of the best friends I ever had (we are now separated by an ocean) is an agnostic/atheist. God used her to watch over me my first time in Japan. I am convinced I may well not have survived without her ability to speak both English & Japanese when I only knew English. She showed me where & how to find & buy food, transportation, etc. She was also a good friend & traveling buddy besides.
