No. Since the Last Supper was a Passover ritual meal (called a Seder) and Jesus is believed to have been a practicing Jew at the time, the food served should have been kosher for Passover. Pork of any kind has NEVER been considered kosher.

Kosher, which is the Hebrew word for 'proper', is a term used to describe anything that meets the standard of Jewish Law. These laws start with all the commandments and instructions in the Old Testament, in addition to later material found in The Mishnah (6 books of Biblical commentary) and further oral traditions. All these sources agree that pigs are considered unclean animals, and therefore are NOT a source of kosher food.

Besides matzoh (the traditional unleavened bread cracker), the Passover ritual also uses the roasted shankbone of a lamb, an egg, bitter herbs (like parsley and radish), a chutney of fruit and nuts called Charoset, salt water and wine or grape juice.

When food is kosher for Passover, it has the further restriction of being free of any leavening, the stuff which makes baked goods rise. This means no baking powder, baking soda or yeast of any kind. Legumes and all grain products are also banned during the holiday, except matzoh and matzoh derived products. The wafers used as the consecrated host for communion is made in the same manner as matzoh, and are often manufactured by the same companies.

The Bible does not say to the best of my Knowledge. Probably something like the Passover meal, which was Lamb with unleavened bread and we do know they had bread and wine. No pork chops, and isn't it ironic that pork supposedly is the worst meat you can eat.

Imposible because jews were not permitted to eat pork.

Where on earth did you get that information. I have read the Bible two times and nothing is said about what they ate.

Oy vey, dot vas nut kosher. I remember learning, as a child, that "Mary had a little lamb." I think it followed her to school one day. Ah, but was she there? She was probably the one who cooked whatever it was. You know, everywhere that Mary went---that lamb was sure to go. I hear the wine was excellent.

Most likely lamb. But pork chops would not go against what God taught.

I have looked and looked for that answer and all I could find for certain was that there was wine and bread. I have no idea what else may have been served, but I did look :-(

I'd say lamb. And who said this. I question the validity of the Rumor.
