What color should i die my hair?

i have red hair and pail skin and lots of freckles and i rly want to die or highlight my hair but im not sure waht color and if i should get all of my hair or just the top or bottom layers???

Well....if you have to dye your red hair....I'd go brunette...blond would make you look bland and something too dark like dark brown or black would make your skin look even more pale. I would consult someone at the salon. If they know their stuff they'll be able to help you with no problem.

If you're dying your hair and you want to know what color suits you. Unless you've had it colored before, and that would give you some indication as to what you like and don't like. But, if you've never colored your hair before, my advice would be simply to do this. Go into a departmental store where they have a wig department and just ask if you can try some wigs on. Not for the hair style, but for the choice of color. Or hold the wig up to your face and see if it works with your skin tones. That's really about the only way you can safeguard yourself from choosing the wrong color.

put chestnut brown lowlights into the top layer of your hair. if your doing this at home, I reccommend herbal escences dye or something by clairol.

ur so lucky. i love natural red hair. It would probably look good if it was a mediumish brown/blonde color. personally....i think you should keep ur red hair.
