I need to know the steps to take to download pictures to my computer.I have vista home premium.I am going to be selling somethings on ebay and I need to know how to get the picture of what i am selling on ebay or any site that I want to put a picture on.Will all digital cameras work to download picture to computer.What is the best digital camera to use for this.first time doing this help.

Your camera comes with the software to download the pictures. Once you have them on your computers hard drive you just go to eBay and then into my pictures and find the photo you want and click on it and it will go where you want it. It is really easy. I am very dumb when it comes to computers and I have Vista too and it is easy if I can do it you can do it!

There is actually no "best digital camera" for a situation as simple as this. As most people know, or i guess i should say, gadget lovers do know that almost every electronic item nowadays come with a USB cable to connect your camera (or any other gadget) to your PC. By doing so, you can easily transfer files from your gadget to PC and vice versa. If in the rare case that the item you bought doesn't come with it, but you happen to have a card reader or your PC has a built in card reader, you may also just insert the memory card to the card reader and transfer files from your camera to PC and vice versa. Stay with a good quality camera...even if cheap.
(Kodak, Olympus, Canon, etc.) All of these makers give you the tools to simplify enjoying the time you have to share (for, afterall, pictures are a moment in time)
