Yes, my fiance is an atheist. He was a Christian when we started dating. It hurts me immensely but at the same time I cannot force my beliefs on him. I love him too much to break it off and he is still the best person I have ever met and the only difference is he believes the Bible is myth. His morals etc are still the same. All I can do is pray for him that one day he sees that maybe he cannot explain everything and that there is room for Jesus in his life and his heart. In other words I am praying this is a phase even though it may never pass, and instead of condemning him to hell I try my best not to judge since that is something Jesus told us. Besides if a group of people keep harassing you saying you will go to hell, I think you would be less likely to listen to them in the future/ see their side of things.

I have a family member who is a Christian. He has been one for years and it doesn't look like that is going to change any time soon. I have tried talking to him, but nothing seems to make any difference.
This is troubling, because I believe that he is wasting his life planning for an after-death experience that will never happen.

You are Not PowerLess!
Bind those Spiritual Forces that keep your Family Member "Blinded", in The Name of Jesus.
They have to Flee in the Name of Jesus!
Then Agree with GOD Almighty that he,she will Accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour when there Mind is Free Too Make that Decision.
(when you Bind the Forces of Darkness for Salvation---GOD Almighty Backs up that Prayer and Gives him,her a Chance to Get Saved)
Never Take your Faith Off of the Line for SomeOnes Salvation!
(Might take a While!)

This is my encouragement for everyone. God has a plan for each one of us. The future is completely in His hands. Remember He said "For I know my plans for you says the Lord, plans not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". We did not choose be alive on earth, didn't we? it's His will that's why we're here! He knows that We humans are easily to get sin, He understand that. But still, the good thing is that, He loves us with an everlasting love! so, we always have to be thankful for Him everyday, "For His compassion NEVER fail. they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness." remember, Jesus the Lord said "His Father's Sun shines between the righteous and the wicked". And don't worry if you can't convince anyone, as have I mentioned lately, the future is completely in His hands. What you can do now, is to pray for the good of each and everyone. prayer is the best communication here on earth, between you and the Creator itself who made you, more powerful than the latest internet technology today! Time will come God will make a way for him. okay?..take it easy now.

I'm a fellow christian also and i share in your concern for your family member. i believe in the power of prayer! it is amazing and remember all things are possible through GOD. pray for the holy spirit to convict his heart and stop talking about Jesus our wonderful savior and PRAY and let the love and glory from the lord shine through you. remember that sometimes as Christians we are the only bible that some will see .lead this soul to Jesus through love patience and understanding.i will be praying for you also .my god's spirit wash over us all and place those in our path to help us along on our journey, to encourage each other and care for each other and to praise your holy name. amen.

Keep praying for God to soften his heart.
For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
1 Corinthians 7:13-15
I know this speaks of wives, husbands and children, but God will tug a bit harder at his heart by your prayers since you are sanctified through Christ.

The mother of St. Augustine prayed everyday for her son Augustine to become a Catholic Christian, for he wasn't baptized and lived a life with many sexual deviances. Her prayers were answered and Augustine became one of the greatest Saints of all time.
Pray.

Read Second Timothy Chapter 2. Applies directly to what you are going through now.
The truth is - you are powerless.
Pray for him, witness when appropriate - but accept his fate is in GOD's hands.

Fortunately you are wrong! There is no heaven and hell, so quit worrying. Why don't you just try being a human being and loving the person unconditionally.

it is not your mission to save people; that burden was Jesus; God gave man the freedom to choose; it is his choice , a gift from God; how he chooses to spend it, again his choice; even atheists have found God in their own time; you walk the walk and live by example; that is all you can do ; you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink
