My hair is naturally light brown. I've been bleaching it for years, on and off professionally. I'm confident enough with coloring that I've started doing it myself - I am now close to platinum. There are some parts of my hair that are uneven in color, though. The top is like a white/platinum and some parts of the bottom have a yellow hue. I always tone after bleaching and use a purple shampoo...why is my hair still uneven? Should I only tone the bottom half next time I touch my roots up? Why is this happening? Also, has anyone heard of CHI Infra Color? I've heard it lightens as well as bleach with less damage. Please give me any hints/suggestions. Thanks!

You May Need to Re-Bleach JUST The Yellow Areas To Get Rid Of The Yellow And Get Them To The Correct Porosity For Your Toner To Take.- IF However, The Yellow Areas Were Taking Color Before You May Have Over-Porous Areas That Won't Hold Color. Then, You May Need To Use A "Color-Filler" To Get Rid Of The Yellow Before Toning.Use The Deepest PLATINUM (Purple Base - NEVER BLUE) Toner On The Yellow Areas WITHOUT THE PEROXIDE MIXED IN Directly On The "Yellow" Areas Leave in For 10-15 Min. Blot (Don't Rinse) And Apply Your Usual Toner In The Usual Way.

Hope This Helps, Good-Luck!
