Revelations is but a poem of lament after the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.. Early Christians expected Christ to return sooner rather than later and to save Jerusalem from destruction from the Romans. Thus, Revelations the poem was written. Each of the gospels has some poetic license built in though - each gospel was written for a specific community at the time: each gospel is a Christianity marketing piece with historical information included.

First of all it's the Book Of Revelation (singular). Second, it is not a poem, it is the account of a vision of future events. It is debatable and up to interpretation, however, the end result will be the same. Sooner or later, The Lord Jesus is coming back to earth. God the Father will be with us once again and we shall be with him. The destiny of mankind will be changed for all eternity. That is what is important.

The Book of Revelation was the first book of The New Testament to be written and is full of numerical puzzles. Each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet has a corresponding number, so that any number could also be read as a word.

It could be argued that the Book of Revelation is a political tract with a distinct anti- Roman bias, numerically coded to disguise its true message. The Number of the Beast (whatever that might actually be) referring to either Caligula or Nero, the hated oppressors of the early Christians, and not some incorporeal, diabolical 'bogey-man'.

No it shall surely happen. When the true followers of Jesus the Christ are raptured in heaven the greatest human suffering shall occur. Those who are left behind shall have one last and final but painful chance to come to Jesus and accept him as their savior. The great 7 year tribulation shall only commence when Israel signs a 7 year peace treaty and by doing so can rebuild their Temple of Solomon on Mount Moriah via the beast of the Sea (the Antichrist) ( Israel shall pay double for their hubristic treachery towards God by accepting protection from the son of the Devil literally) The world ruler that shall rule over the 10 gov. confederacy (10 horns) in between the 3 and a half years the prophecy of Gog is to be fulfilled that is when Russia, Libya, Ethiopia, Iran (Persia) Turkey and other nations that hate Israel shall try vainly to eradicate the Jews but to no avail via God Obliterates them. Also the 2 powerful witnesses shall preach their testimonies and shall do many plagues and miracles if anyone tries a vain attempt to harm the two they shall breathe fire out their mouth and incinerate the assaulters(s) that is the way they must die. Also the 144,000 Jewish Evangelicals shall be dispatched via the sovereign Lord to preach the word of God to the wicked inhabitants of the Earth. During this time the judgment shall be executed the 7 seals of the scroll opened by only Jesus the next judgment is even worse the 7 Trumpets of Judgment. At the midpoint of the 7 year tribulations Satan is expelled from the atmospheric heaven enraged by this he indwells the Antichrist and persecutes the newly converts of Jesus that Obey God’s laws and also the Jews bent on eradicating the Jews. When the Jews learn of the Antichrist treachery some flee to the ancient Ruins of Petra of Bozrah there they shall be protected supernaturally by God. The antichrist slays the 2 witnesses and the world rejoices their death then after 3 and a half days they are resurrected and are taken to heaven via a cloud and a tenth of Jerusalem is destroyed and 7,000 people are killed by a massive earthquake the ones that survive give glory to God for sparing them. Then the Antichrist shall sit on the throne of the new Solomon Temple and proclaim himself as God and demand worship towards him and this is reinforced by the Beast of the Earth (The False Prophet) anyone who does not accept the mark of the beast cannot buy or sell and if you do not accept it you shall be beheaded!! Those who accept the mark shall partake the wrath of God!! Accepting this mark is irrevocable and condemns you to hell like a instant K.O. That is why God dispatches 3 powerful angels to preach the everlasting gospel and to warn the inhabitant of the earth to not accept the mark of the beast as has never happen before. The worse judgment is the seven bowls of God’s Wrath!!! The antichrist and his forces are then destroyed via the second coming of Jesus. The new 1,000 years of peace via Jesus commences after that Satan is released and his forces are obliterated with fire from God everyone who did not accept Jesus which are not written in the book of Life are thrown in hell along with Satan. So accept Jesus as your savior so you shall not partake the horrors of the Great tribulations and hell. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe that God raise him from the dead you shall so be saved Romans 10:9

I disagree. Revelation is a prophetic book predicting the coming of Christ and the events that will happen prior to his return.
