4:157 . That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
This verse says they were made to believe a lie.
600 years man was made to believe a lie.
What happens to those who believe the lie born and died between the crucifiction and the time of Muhammad?
Can Allah righteously judge those who were born and died believing a lie Allah made them believe?
Was it right for Allah to deceive them their entire lives? Even before they were born?
Isn't it obvious this could not be true?
The true God sent word of the coming Messiah that he would atone for sin thousands of years before the birth of the Messiah.
Is it reasonable to believe he changed his mind and deceved generations of people?

Dillon, does this answer the question as to those who were born and died after this crucifiction? They were made to believe a lie correct? According to Muslims I am still believeing a lie that Allah made me believe and what of those with no Qu'ran no Muhammad to tell them the word of God was a lie?

Imortal Isaiah prophsied about the atonement 800 years before the birth of the Messiah, The crucifiction is the reason there are Christians. If this is a deception by God then he literally had generations of people believing a lie and living and dieing believeing a lie.
What of those who had no Qu'ran 600 years Allah allowed them to be born and die believing in the atonement Isaiah propesied 800 years before Christ.

Chelle, Great answer...there will be no answer from any Muslim other than to attack Christianity. When there is no answer in the Qu'an they revert to the only thing the Qu'ran teaches and that is to deny the deity of Christ and the atonement.

Dillon, but so it was made to appear to them,
Who made it appear this way? Could Allah only save Jesus, by making it appear he was crucified? Again what of the generations that followed would they not believe what the others were made to believe that Jesus atoned for sin as Isaiah said he would? Is it unusual that they would believe a prophet of God and what others claimed to have witnessed personaly...with no word of God to the contrary for 600 years? How is it you believe they should have known better? Where was the word of God telling them different than that which we have that says the Messiah would atone for sin? They witnessed this and had prophsies of this atonement and you say they should have known better? How do we know anything if not from God? They had no Qu'ran to tell them that Isaiah was wrong. They had scripture and they had those who witnessed the crucifction, that the Qu'ran says were made to believe a lie...Please tell me how it is their fault for beleiving..

GemX The word of God says the Messiah will atone for sin....Isaiah who you believe to be a prophet of God prophsied the atonement 800 years before Christ. Jesus agreed with the prophsies of Isaiah. What word of God tells these people before the Qu'ran and after the crucifiction that the word of God is no good?
The Qu'ran is very clear that Allah misled them
and gave his truth 600 years later....What of these can you show me where these had a word from God contrary to the aotnement ?
did God speak to them each personally?
Muhammad did not speak directly to God.
Did they have a proper book if so why was Muhammad given the Qu'ran? Why 600 years after they were made to believe a lie? And what of the book of Isaiah that Jesus agreed with in Luke?
Jesus said: "For I tell you that this scripture must be fulfilled in me, ‘And he was reckoned with transgressors’; for what is written about me has its fulfilment" (Luke 22:37, RSV). The quoted verse is Isaiah 53:12.

Noor, If I am misinterpreting this sura to say Allah misled them I am still missing it...again this verse says they were made to believe...Who do you supose made them believe that the crucified man was Christ? and if it was not Allah where and when did he clear this up before the Qu'ran? If Allah allowed us to believe this lie without any scripture to the contrary but plenty of scripture that promised a Messiah and a Savior is Allah not allowing us to believe a lie? and these born and died before the Qu'ran and after the crucifiction ....again I say what of these people? If there was a word of God contrary to the atonement please bring it forth so that we can know that they had opportunity to believe Allah that his word was a lie.
You say the Deciples were Muslims before the existence of Islam and that they did not believe Jesus was the Son of God and that this came from the council of Nicea...Peter calls Jesus the Son of the living God in Mathew 16

If this word of god is corrupted by the council of Nicea then why is allah telling you to trust the word of God revealed to the people of the book when the council of Nicea was in 325 and the Qu'ran is 600? If you believe what you say that those Allah misleads can not be righteously judged than how about this verse from the Qu'ran?
14:4. And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allâh misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

B. You are saying it was okay to believe Jesus was the Holy Son of God who died for our sins for 600 years but not anymore? So some were allowed to worship Jesus but that ended when Muhammad met a spirit he did not know and this spirit disagreed with the word of God and the prophets of God but this spirit was right and from God???

Thats going to great lengths to believe the Qu'ran. If God allowed this belief for six hundred years maybe this was scripture for 1500 years before the Qu'ran? Like Isaiah said 800 years before Jesus? Maybe God simply changed his mind? If God allowed this who is to say how long he as allowed it? The Bible seems to have to have always said this? If Allah misled maybe he always misled or maybe he is misleading you now?

B. I'm ready whenever you are.
You begin by saying God gave us Jesus the Christ...Now think for a moment How do we recognize the Messiah?
The Messiah is foretold in the word of God you call corrupt...Without these prophsies no man could be the Messiah
The Jews rejected Jesus as the Christ because they felt he did not fulfill these prophesies of Messiah,
The Christians accepted Jesus because we know he did fulfill the prophesies of the Messiah.
The Muslims accept Jesus as the Christ but do not believe the word of God that proves him to be the Christ. You then say God does not lead us astray or make us believe a lie...Well god does not but Allah clearly says he does nto only in this sura where he says he made them believe they crucified the Christ..but also 14:4. And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allâh misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And I say you are wrong the belief in the lamb of God is in the first book of Moses which is the first scripture God gave to man. the story of Abrham and Issac,,, Again not Ishmael but the promised child Issac....Abraham tells his son that the lord will provide himself lamb. had you read the true word of God rather than follow a man who believed a spirit that disagreed with God's word you would have known this truth...I welcome your questions regarding the true God of Abraham anytime May God bless you and bring you to his truth.

Samsam its in each of the Gospels and thorughout the New Testament that Jesus was Crucified these can be compared to the Old Testament prophesies of his coming and the atonement. You should read the true word of God and see that Muahammad could not have been a propeht of God unless he agreed with God the word of God and the prophets of God.
Jesus agreed with the word of God and did not teach different than the word of God that was available in his time and in Muhammad's time and in our time. God's true word is forever he did not allow man to make a liar of him.

You speak the truth, until the Spirit of Truth reveals that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour they are in bondage to a spirit of deception.
last week i posted this "Ask Father God by the power of His Holy Spirit to reveal His Son Jesus to you" and "someone" removed this because of a violation. Obviously "someone was offended.
Brother, stand and be of good courage knowing that He who has called you to be the salt of the earth and a messenger of truth will continue to strengthen and protect you, may the grace and peace of Christ be yours today.

At that time, there were no astronomers, only astrologers. Up until around 50 years ago, in madrassars in some parts of the world, it was still being taught that the sun revolved around the Earth, as it states in the Q'ran. That text should be interpreted as providing a moral basis for living, rather than an accurate depiction of the universe. Archaeologists have disproved statements made in the Old Testament of the bible (Torah), on which the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish faiths are founded. And who believes that Jonah lived in a whale, or that a man lived for 900 years? People in those days had no science, because it only originated in the last 200 years, approximately.

The Koran also says
Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.
Sura 2 - Ayat 62
P.S. I'm not a Muslim, but Allah did that to protect Jesus from death and made Judas look like Jesus God did not really lie because they should of figured it out, but didn't so they were deceived by themselves and the devil and when Muhammad came he set it straight and yet still people have it wrong because of the thing the Jews didn't figure out, how would they figure it out Ask a Disciple.
According to Muslims people were deceived by Catholic Churches, but most early Christians were a form of Muslim today and some believe the lie.
Note that the Bible also say thing that after the death of the disciples there would be wrong information on the truth of Jesus and who he was as well as false churches.

>>between the crucifiction and Muhamamd were 600 years
What you believe today may not be the case in those 600 years. Remember you have come after 2000 years. It also takes time for corruption make itself firm. Its only when the corruption surpassed its limit a new messenger Mohammed (PBUH) was sent.
>>Can Allah righteously judge those who were born and died >>believing a lie Allah made them believe?
Its not the case that all were deviated. Who knows it might a test from Allah to check who believes and who does not. Between these 600 years there WERE many true believers. But compared to majority they were few.
>>Can Allah righteously judge those who were born and died >>believing a lie Allah made them believe?
As with all, everybody has been given a fixed time (lifetime) to search out the truth. Its your duty to find out the truth by questioning existing beliefs. Just because you were born with a belief doesn't entitle you to an excuse on the Day of Judgement. Who is at fault if you dont do your duty?Allah or you?

Very good question, I will be interested in the answers you get.
I have wondered the same thing. Why does God, God creator of all, need to deceive man. Doesnt that lower him to our level?
This is not the only deception the accuse God of. For thousands of years, it was taught that Isaac was the son that God demanded Abraham sacrifice. But Mohammad comes along and God supposedly reveals to Him it was not Isaac but Ishmael. So God deceived us humans for two thousands years. He had relationships with the prophets, the Muslims proclaim they love soo much, but He never felt the need to tell these prophets it was Ishmael he asked to be sacrificed, not Isaac?
Besides turning God into a pimp (70 virgins) and heaven into the bar (rivers if wine run in the Muslim Paradise) the denegrate God by saying he is a liar. (and Muslims, saying that God deceived man into thinking he put another man on the cross in Jesus' place is saying He is a liar.)
Lets see what the muslims say. I bet you will not get an answer to your basic question.

Apparently there are some Muslims who do believe Jesus was on the Cross, but survived and lived out His life on earth. Others believe Allah changed the appearance of Judas or someone else and raised up Jesus alive. But they all agree that we should know better because...just because we should. It's the fault of men and not Allah. That Allah, it seems even when he deceives he's right and we infidels are to blame.

You are right in that Allah Almighty cannot judge those whoHE has caused to believe a lie, who HE has forced eople to believe a lie.
However, you are misreading the verse. Itwas made to appear so. Over years and years legends and stories were made up about what really happened, and the Jews werent helping with these legends.
Do not forget that the Discples were all Muslims and all believed in that Jesus was only a Prophet of Allah. IT wasnt their fault that Constantine massacred those who opposed the Trinity, which came about through the Coucil of Nicae, 300+ years after Jesus peace be upon him walked this earth.
So to say that God forced people to believe a lie is false and a weak excuse to try and deny Islam. Please understnd that language of the Qur'an next time , thankyou.

"allah" is merely a repackaged moon-god and muhammad is the messenger of satan (just ask Allāt and al-'Uzzā and Manāt)
