I recently heard about a school district in Arkansas that denied 80 American kids entry into their public schools because they were 'reserving' those 80 seats for children of illegal immigrants. Has anybody heard about this and have any specific details?

No, I have not heard of it. I have tried to do a google, but nothing is coming up ... yet.
If so, it is another case where illegals get better treatment then the legal citizens of this great country.

Yes it happens all the time in California. First the school district gets double money from the government.Half the funds are for having a normal student. Second half the school district gets is because it will have to hire a Spanish speaking teacher. Illegals are good business for the schools districts.

I doubt the story is true, no school system can deny a child, even if they need to build a new school or obtain a mobile addition. They CAN put a child on a bus and send them to another school in the same system for the sake of "diversity"
Busing children has long been a controversial issue and to be honest I don't think is was ever the intent of the civil rights movement.

I agree. I don't have kids, but I would support an increase in taxes for kids to go to private school. The "No Child Left Behind" has made a horrible mess out of public schools, and I think sending kids to private might be the best answer.

i haven't heard of it with illegal immigration but it's wrong. I believe it should be first come first serve in public schools. You can't save seats for immigrants who may or may not come when there are children who NEED schooling NOW. It's absurd.

I havent heard about that paticular one but I know some places want to do it. They are wrong and should be sued for discrimination. America for the Americans not illegals.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Illegals should be deported PERIOD. I just wonder what it will take people to wake up and realize that the super rich elite who are in power are USING illegal aliens to meet their means. They are USING illegal aliens to erase our borders so it will be easier for them to create the North American Union between Canada, Mexico and the USA.

I have not heard of this yet, but if it's true then it's disgusting. Everybody in charge of making those decisions in that particular district should be fired and sued by the families of the REAL VICTIMS........THE AMERICANS!

everyone is like oh i havent heard but its WRONG!!! wtf either make the school bigger or just mix it in. i never heard that there are illegal people in arkansas.
