Cars are insured, not people, if one has multiple cars.one has to insure each and every one, even though you can only drive one at a time. In your case the owner of said car has to be over twenty one years old, for you to be a legal driver,!!!!!

It depends on the kind of insurance you have and the kind they have. Also, it depends on where you're from. Here in California, if you drive in any car with someone under 25 while you have your permit all insurance is void. So if you get in a crash, the insurance won't pay for anything. I think you're under the impression that insurance extends more if you have a permit rather than a license but the opposite is generally true. The insurance companies know you're still learning to drive and probably won't want to insure you on as many cars as your parents because of it. I'd trust them on this, if you get in a crash you're gambling their money. If you're confident though, you can always call your insurance company, just sneak an insurance bill or google your company and call your agent, he/she could probably answer the question quickly. Know your social security number when you call, they'll probably ask for it.

No that is not correct! Car insurance is actually drivers insurance that covers the drivers car in the event it gets wrecked. If a permit holder was driving my car and his name was on my car's insurance policy it is OK. A driver under 25 cost a fortune to insure on any car. So do not drive a car unless it is your's and your insurance card has your name and Vin# on it otherwise you will get a ticket for no insurance.

Assuming the person has been licensed for the proper amount of time (usually 3 years) and is of the proper age (usually over 21) to supervise your driving, and is in the front seat, and it's the correct time, and there are no other passengers, certainly.
