i want to take a traffic school so i can get that off my record bought i dont know how it works please help me!!

the thing is i wasnt the one driving the car my friend was

he paid for the ticket and i thought itd be okay but he plead guilty too so what do i need to no i really need this off my record

ask the judge hearing your case if they will allow that. only they can answer the query you have posted here.

Your additional information contradicts itself. If your friend plead guilty, the ticket is not on your record. It is on his. The PROPER procedure if you are not driving is to tell the DMV who was driving and have them reissue the ticket to that person (if they deny driving, you are still on the hook). There should have been instructions with the ticket about how to do this. As things stand, you should BOTH go together to a DMV office or the clerk of courts to explain the situation. Even if someone here can tell you what to do, you WILL have to go to the DMV or the court to actually correct the records.

I do not know whether you have plead guilty to the ticket. You may be able to plea bargain it done to a lesser charge. There are courses you can take, I think they are called defensive driving courses, that can lessen points on your license, and thus decrease your insurance rate.
