I reinstalled winxp over itself to fix a registry problem and windows does not detect the previous user accounts yet they are located still in documents and settings folder. Is there a way to make windows see the old user accounts that are being ignored or will I have to manually move the files to a new created account? thanks

The old user accounts no longer exist. Only their documents are stored in the hard drive. You will have to manually move their profiles to the new C:\Documents and Settings\username Folder

start up the computing device in Safemode. Logon as Admin, if the computing device has one. click on control panel, and difference guy or woman passwords. The Admin logon does now no longer exhibit up on a organic XPboot mode. I gained onto my logon like this via danger! good fulfillment!
