Is running a mile a day, 7 days a week a good start? Should I run more? 280 IBS trying to loose atleast 60 IBS

That's a decent start yes, but try to build on that. So next week, or maybe the week after, try running 1.2 miles or something like that. Push yourself. Also, consider resting one day per week.

Also try changing up your routine every so often. Your body will soon adapt to the running, so maybe replace it with heavy weight lifting or biking in a few weeks, then you can go back to running soon after.

Perfect, shoot for 4-5 days a week, so you don't get burned out.

It is a good start. After a while, you can increase it. Just do it slowly.
