And Jesus looking upon then said, with men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27

Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. It is not enough that a thing be possible for it to be believed.
Voltaire

I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much.

Absolutely. Without God I was lost... I had depression in 2005, if I didn't have God by my side, I was way deeper in drugs, not to mention many other problems I had in my life and still have. I make Mother Teresa's words my words. I wish God didn't trust me so much, because sometimes the burden is so heavy, but, well, I think He knows how strong I am, and without Him and His angels/spirits I had given up a long time ago.

Peace!

Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." You know you need to water your plant every day to keep it alive. You need food to stay alive. Jesus said man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. That same analogy for faith must be applied here.

...
Understanding is the reward of Faith.
Therefore, seek not understanding that thou
mayest believe, but believe that thou
mayest understand.

Augustine (c.416)
(Bishop of early western Christianity)

I loved the quotes that you posted...and yes, God, indeed, helps me overcome obstacles...for instance, I'm now disabled...prior to this, my life was much different...I never imagined the road that I'm now on ever coming to pass...much has been taken away, and I grieve, much has changed...yet,
" adapting " is a skill I'm learning better than I did before my illness...and "adapting" has made it easier to see and hear God...in that sense, this
"thorn in my side" has made me stronger and has become a blessing

Oh yes - with God, no matter how bad things are, I always can see the light at the end of the tunnel (and it's not an oncoming train).

Yes it is true. What if you believe on wrong god. If your god is already dead how he can help you? See you can not explain your own faith and religion and basis of your faith is not on any clear proof in your Bible.

Fact is the real God has plans for all humans entire life and they keep getting what God has planned for them whether they believe or worship God or not. Aren't atheists successful in their lives.

Yes they are. Difference is that this life is heaven for them but they have nothing in the hereafter because they don't believe in it. They will be burned in hell fire. Those who believe in God, for them this life is like hell full of trials, tribulations and tests of their faith from God. But at the end they will enjoy for ever in the Hereafter.
