By George! let's see the caskets of almost 4000 of our troops and about a million Iraqi's killed, grief stricken survivors and victims and bereaved families of soldiers, brain injuries, amputees, a huge growing debt in the trillions deferred for our children and grandchildren to pay, a draft to supply the needed troops so repeat tours aren't needed. For what? How bad can it get before the people demand the troops be brought responsibly home, IMPEACHMENT. ENOUGH! Stop the self proclaimed deciders and let the majority of this democracy rule! One nation, divided, with torture, spying, wire tapping, raiding of the U.S. treasury by the military & greedy corporate industrial complex, and injustice and no bid contracts for all croneys and Bush loyalists! Remember the Boston Tea Party? Where's the people's representation in Congress? Take your sign to the streets. Write your congresspersons.Let the buck charge King George, "commander in chief". Let's have some accountability for a CHANGE!

Bush dose not want America to see the dark side of his war, Americans are no longer enlisting in the numbers we need in our service, it is time to start a draft on all Americans, with no more deferments for the rich to hide in Universities, Your education comes after you service to your country.

I completely agree with you. Though the part that amazes me are the responses. The really bad part is they are young people. Billions per day are being spent in Iraq. A good question would be to these young people is how is that going to get paid? It hasn't been paid yet. Taxes will go up. We are no longer wealthy enough to write a check for the entire amount. How is it going to get paid? Second if we stay in Iraq long enough the military will be depleted. How to you replenish it since the only people signing up are immigrants hoping to gain citizenship. Even those people I believe have stop going to the recruitment offices. It's not just the dead that have to be replenished. How many have been severely injured? The draft is the only way. For you young people that want this war be prepared to get your check books out and face a military draft.Nothing is free. I mean really think about it before you try to post something funny. or even something ignorant. Think about it and do the numbers. Once again good question. There was a day when such a question would provoke genuine thought. No more. Everybody is a comedian. Or trying to support the hatred going on. I feel for the younger people. Not thinking but they will be the ones to pay for this. They will be lucky if their taxes go up and not lose their life in Iraq.

There were 7,500 active duty members who died during the last administration. President Clinton made a visit or two to the Armed Forces Mortuary at Dover Air Base, Delaware and used some of those mortal remains as a "photo op". There were 9,555 active duty who died between 1980 and 1984. On one or two occasions President Reagan also used those mortal remains as a "photo op".
In this current conflict about five hundred wounded and injured personnel have lost a limb. About one in five of the deaths in Iraq have been from non-combat causes. Warrantless electronic surveillance, up to 72 hours, was authorized in Section 314 of Public Law #107-108 which was enacted on December 28, 2001.
Sorry if I let the facts get in the way of your rant.

Wow. Where to start?

Look, if something happened to my husband I would NOT want cameras in my face, questions from the miedia, ect. I already have my stupid leberal family asking me how I could be proud if my husband died at war, I dont need any more loonies who have no idea what they're talking about doing the same. My husband and his collegues are proud to be there, proud to be doing GOOD. If my husband were to die tomorrow I would know that he died doing something he believed in.

You're just another example of why the far left really, really does not need to be the leader of this country.

You lost me at "higher taxes" and "draft".

Until then, I thought you might possibly know what you're talking about and have a point worthy of serious consideration.

Only a fool can't comprehend the Laffer Curve or think a Draft would serve any useful purpose whatsoever.

King George is a COWARD! He does'nt want you to see the evidence of the 4,000 Americans he sent to their slaughter because then you will realize that this war is LOST, and has been for some time now.
