My male boxer would stand stock-still and glare, not barking or growling. If they got within range he would try to start a fight. He wasn't properly socialized when he was a puppy.

Not a thing, other than the usual sniffing - he's leashed so I usually don't let him get around to the rear end sniffing. On the very odd occasion he'll decide he doesn't like a dog and make a fuss. I walk a lot, know almost all the dogs we meet, know which ones to avoid. We meet up almost every morning with a male Yellow Lab., my two and Tucker greet each other enthusiastically, we all continue our walk.

It depends entirely on the other dog. If the dog is calm and friendly, my males approach in a like manner, wagging their tails, sniffing and doing all the normal dog things.

With the majority of little ankle biters around my neighborhood, I don't let any of my dogs anywhere near them. Almost all of them are out of control - lunging, growling, snarling and belonging to owners who don't do one thing to attempt correcting their dog's bad behaviour.

Depends on if its a nice dog or mean, most male dogs are territory protectors they will attack unless the other show no signs of aggression or want to play instead of taking over its territory.

I would not allow my male to meet other (intact) males. He is pretty good, but you don't know about other people. They all think their dogs are well behaved and LOVE other dogs!!!

Lest just say there are resons we have fences and leashes and collors! my PRT would be the ignorent dog he is and challenge it (that is a terrier for you) until he relizes it is bigger in person, then he wants to be it's best freind lol. Our male GSD on the other hand just dosn't care. lol He is the lazyest GSD in the world! But he shows very nice for me. I fid it very intresting the way the 2 dogs get along with other makes though you see the PRT is no longer intact and hasn't been for 3 years and the GSD is intact because I show him. They don't live together though, I co-own the GSD with his breeder and his sister because I show them and for some reson she wanted my name on them. The PRT dose live with me though.

HI Penny! It's Amy.
Lucky sniffs the other dog's butt and his tail will go up and he will go in circles as he is sniffing. Sometimes he invites the other dog to play and he instantly goes into play mode. His butt goes up and he will begin to run as fast as he can. What does Rascal do?

My lab/boxer mix is kept away from *any* other unknown dogs. He tries to dominate them if they do wander near him. He has snarled and snapped a few times at some.

My lab loves other dogs.

Both of my dogs are neutered....I just don't know what socialization they got before I adopted them.
