Let's look at the statistics:
Evolution resutled in Hitler setting out to kill everybody that wasn't of the "more evolved" Aryan race.
Stalin's purges arose from the same evolutionary beliefs. He sought to murder all those who were so inferior they didn't embrace his atheistic communist belief system.

192 million people have perished in these and other evolution-based purges. (http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/NOTE1.HTM)

So who out there has the statistics for religion's victims?

And if by some miracle someone has stats, let's see how many resulted from Christianity (not Catholicism [it's well known that the Catholic cult has killed many, mostly Christians, during the Spanish inquisition]) .

I dare say, nobody has died at the hands of genuine Christians in obedience to our Lord. Mainly because Christ didn't command us to go into all the world and kill the infidels. He commanded us to preach the gospel (which to God hating atheists is more annoying than being killed).

Contrary to what people pull up on the internet Hitler was NOT a Christian.
He and some of hos monetary backers decided on their own brand of religion, and it was not Jesus. They were more into astrology and the occult.
The only way to read about it is in the archives at a library.
The articles and photographs are there.
Yes I have seen and read about the democide numbers. They have killed way more than religion ever has.

For some reason atheists have a hard time admitting that Russia and communist China banded together and slew millions of their own people. This under the official banner of atheism. Maybe they fear we are calling all atheists communists. No. But the point remains in a relatively short blip in history. They have amassed an impressive murderous record. What people don't want to look at is most wars are mostly about grabbing what belongs to someone else and taking it for yourself. Some wrongly misuse religion in order to try and motivate a war they would otherwise not be interested in fighting.

Looks like the majority of those that answered missed the context of your question. They supported your argument more than that of yourself.

As for Hitler, he was Catholic, even as the sites that are included in some of the answer mention. Catholics viewed Jew's as the cause of Jesus' death and HATED them ALL. As you mentioned, Stalin was at Hitler's, Catholicism's, heels.

The major point you embraced, yet blatantly disregarded by others, was how nobody has died at the hands of "genuine" Christians in OBEDIENCE to our Lord. Following the example Jesus lived.

The websites included in the answers display an extreme HATE for the genuine Christians & they were persecuted by other religions which even sacrificed "Christians" to their gods. Many mentally ill people have also caused the death of people who follow religion blindly & not as written by God. Jesus warns us of this occurring. He said it SHALL occur. All evil comes from the father of lies, the deceiver, the father of "it" , the Devil, even from the beginning.

Atheism itself isn't a principle, cause, philosophy, or belief system which people fight, die, or kill for. Being killed by an atheist is no more being killed in the name of atheism than being killed by a tall person is being killed in the name of tallness.

People were killed in communist nations for a lot of different reasons.

Some were communists who disagreed with those in power and were killed because of that. Some were anti-communists opposed the government and were killed for that. Some were simply in the way or inconvenient and were killed for that. These are political disagreements that people were being killed over, not murder in the name of atheism.

But weren't a lot of people killed because they were Christian? Certainly — but not simply because they were Christian. Communists typically regarded religious organizations as a hinderance towards the creation of a worker's paradise. Some religious groups also opposed the communists. Once again, we are generally looking at political issues, not a question of atheism.

That's a pretty weak argument. It wasn't "evolution" that spurred Hitler, it was power and racism. To call war atrocities "evolution based purges" is faulty terminology. Also, just to clarify, Atheists don't "hate God," they don't believe in God. And there is absolutely no way, shape or form one can define the Catholic Church as a cult.

Stalin was trained in a Seminary to become a Jesuit priest. I have serious doubts if he was an actual atheist.

I dare say, what a crock about Christians being nonviolent.

To those who say Hitler was not a Christian, I say "Get a Brain!"
I have read the books, and also the newspapers that are on file from the thirties. Hitler and the Nazis were Christian Fascists who had support from the American industrialists and the Church because he was going to smash the "Godless Bolchevicks".

You know, genocide does fit in with natural selection. But the theory of evolution is not what wars were all about, people were not like "Lets kill in the name of evolution!". Genocide is much older than the theory of evolution, and no wars were declared in the name of evolution... That is plain silly to think they were.

It is like saying that we start wars in the name of gravity, or in the name of the big bang. When a large group of Atheists gather together and start believing in things such as genocide, or any ideology they are not killing in the name of Atheism, but in their beliefs. People do not go out and start wars in the name of "we lack belief in God".. They might start a war because they believe that a certain religion is evil, or unwanted for some reason or another.. Notice there again is a belief..

All people are capable of irrational thought. I am not here to defend Atheism, I am here to defend rational thoughts. My Atheism is due to rational thought, it is not something I put faith in and feel the need to defend with an iron sword. I will fight for what I believe in though, such as equal rights, freedom of speech, my family.

What you're describing has nothing to do with evolution.

As for Protestant Christians, you seem to have overlooked the empire building of the 19th century in which untold millions died because the conquering countries thought the conquered were worthless heathens. Including the Native Americans in America.

I hope you're not CBG. This is getting boring.

Neither Hitler nor Stalin killed anyone BECAUSE they were atheists (and Hitler was in fact a Christian, and all his SS wore belts that said "God With Us." engraved on them...). They did it because they were evil men with bad ideas (Id also point out that Eugenics was being practiced in America by Christians in the 1920s and 1930s to sterilize criminals and "retards" and was done away with only after Hitler began using the idea to exterminate Jews...)

Now, how many abortion doctors have been MURDERED by Christians simply because of what the Christian believes? Not to mention the fact that the ENTIRE EARTH was flooded and everyone alive was killed by your GOD. Allegedly, that is. 192Million compared to the entire population of the earth?

Hitler was a Christian.
Evolution was not a motivating factor for any dictator any more than the Speed of Light was.

Catholicism is Christianity.

I don't carry stats around with me, but the last numbers I saw were in the billion range (much higher than the fictitious 192 million you cite in your dishonest argument)
