"God is experimenting."

Or my favorite:

"God doesn't have to explain his actions to you."

What is there to address? There is no Christian teaching that the number of planets is fixed or something of thelike. What's your point here?

No one in history has witnessed the formation of a new planet, even now it can best be described as speculation. We'll all be long forgotten before there will be anything that can be classified as a planet.

Once in a while "god" comes out of creationist-retirement, possibly out of boredom (because the human race is not worthy of miracles of biblical magnitude anymore) and creates a few planets.

Planets form. What's the question.
I address this as some rock forming so far away that these guys guess as to its make up, and you buy it.
A second earth? Did they spot life? Is it evolving?
They still guess as to Mars which is compartitively so close.
You are gullible.

well not all of them are doctrinally obliged to believe that earth is the only possible location in the universe where life could occur.

for those that are, the approach of sticking their fingers in their ears and singing "la la la i can't hear you" seems to work best.

They say it was already there and revert to 24 hours is really a billion years. Very sensible.
