I have an invisible friend. He is with me wherever I go. But a god he is not - he smokes too much pot, and I once saw him pee in the snow.
I have an invisible friend. He makes me feel good when I'm glum. I don't pray to him, he drinks too much gin, he's my E.S.Perception-based chum.
I have an invisible friend. He sees just how flawed I can be. But unlike your god, he overlooks 'flawed', and shows me the way of Hermes.

Very interesting question but the answer is not simple.

This is between OUR SOUL and OUR SPIRIT. When our MIND focus more on this DIMENSION (material/world) then our CONCENTRATION on other dimension (Spiritual) become less until we could hardly communicate with our own spirit as we communicate more with the world.

Therefore PRAYING or MEDITATION is a practise to FOCUS our MIND back to our INVISIBLE self.

INVISIBLE SELF is a REAL existence of us whereas our BODY is a FICTIVE existence.

No, I don't have an invisible friend.

I do believe in God, though. I have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

I outgrew my invisible friends several years before the age of 12....more like 5 or 6.

I'm guessing that this is a smart butt relation to saying that people who believe in a god are just as ignorant as 12 year olds.

If I'm wrong on this assumption please accept my apology and clarify your meaning behind this question

I do not have an invisible friend but I guess many would consider Him invisible but He is very real to me. He is God! He is more than a friend He is my life!

I never had an imaginary friend as a child.
