"If someone gave me 100% proof that there was no god, then I would change my mind. But no one has done that yet either."
So would I. I have not seen that 100% proof, either.

"If the clouds moved and god appeared and spoke to you personally..." - I would not accept that as proof since it's too easy to fool the senses. On the other hand, if I had what I considered 100% proof (or even reasonable, but less than 100% proof), I would change my mind. However, the appearance of god would not, by itself, convert me to any specific religion. Unless god told me which to religion to follow, I would select one that I feel comfortable with

you ask for proof of the existance of God? The resurrection of Jesus is proof, whether you accept it or not is your choice
the roman guards knew where the body of Jesus was. The Jewish leadership knew where the body of Jesus was. The disciples knew where the body of Jesus was. the man who allowed the use of the tomb knew where the body of Jesus was.
when the disciples started saying Jesus was alive, and Jesus started appearing to up to 500 people at the same time....why did none of the above (except the disciples) produce the dead rotting corpse of Jesus to silence them once and for all.
why were the disciples willing to die for a lie that did nothing to promote their own pocket books?
why did the romans in act a law immediately for anyone desecrating a tomb. (a result of the body of Jesus not being found, available or an explaination that they would accept).
When I look at the answers to some of these questions, I find people who do not know history making statements that the court of documented history has silenced once and for all.
an example of this. The Pontius P. asked Jesus, what is truth and there was no proof he existed apart from a few documents and the bible until 1962 when the itialian archeology team found a stone with his biographical data on it, signifying a gift to the people of a town.
As time goes by, the proof of the existence of God, the reliablity of the bible, and truths of the gospel are being proven, verified and tested and verified again.
anyone who says there is no proof, has not taken the time to examine what is there. A hateful God? If you want justice for all your injustice, do you think a just God wants less? Use your brain for once and quit hiding behind pat answers that do not address truths you all need to seriously consider.
remember, Jesus loves you and wants you to spend eternity in heaven. Allah hates you and wants you dead. the terrorist are proving that.

If a bunch of clouds moved and God's face I appeared I would probably still not believe in God or clouds for that matter.

If the clouds parted and G-d appeared and spoke to me personally, it would certainly confirm the existence of G-d, but that still wouldn't make me a Christian. After all, you said that G-D appeared, you didn't say anything about Jesus showing up.

Well obviously, as I believe that there is no God one) because there IS no proof, and because I just can't wrap my mind against such a concept, but to be given proof and still not believe would make me just as stupid as the people who denounce gravity.

I guess that would change my mind, but that would not make me worship him. And i realize this makes me sound agnostic more than atheist. But I still believe 100% that there is no god and that that will never happen, therefore I am an atheist.

You are asking if, faced with a bona fide miracle, would I be convinced.
The answer is probably not.
The ONLY thing that would convince me is if I commanded god to appear, he/she/it did so, and then it performed a number (lets say 5) miracles of my choosing, that were witnessed by other people who I do not know, and who were also able to command miracles of their own which I could witness.
That would convince me the entity was possibly a god, and certainly not human.

"Hark! Quod the X, it is I... your Father."
"OK... I have done my mind now."
I realize this question is hypothetical, but I'd think I finally gone nuts to vision some guy pop out of the clouds and appear. Then the last thing I wonder is how desperate the bloke must be.

If I had proof, yes, I would change my mind.
Because I believe things based on what can be proven and what can be seen. I am not one to deny something thats obviously true because it doesn't suit me (Like some Christians do with evolution).
