It is impossible to determine how many saints there are. Remember, there are famous saints and non-famous saints. Revelation 7:9 says that the saints in heaven are too numerous to count.

Now, if you're talking about how many people have been declared saints by, say, the Roman Catholic Church or the Episcopal Church, I think you'd have to check their websites. I've no doubt that the churches have canonized more men than women, because it's easier for men to see other men's accomplishments than to see women's accomplishments.

Wikipedia says the RC Church recognizes over 10,000 saints.

I only know of the names of three archangels: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. (Raphael is mentioned in the Apocrypha of the Old Testament. I believe Michael and Gabriel are mentioned in both the OT and NT.)

When Paul writes of speaking to the saints in the Bible, he is referring to all believers in Christ at the place for which he was writing or referring to. Catholicism defines its own notion of saint as someone that passes certain tests and is elected to sainthood. The answer will depend upon your definition of saint.

I don't think anyone bothered to make statistics based on such Holy people. Each is unique and should be acknowledged as such.

Arch angels are the angels we know by name, only 3 of them according to the Catholic Church. Gabriel, Michael and Raphiel.
