Honestly, since I am already aware of this general "prophecy" from the bible, I would probably go back and re-read it to see it if meshed with what I was seeing. While I throughly doubt anything like that would ever happen, IF it did only a moron wouldn't want to check it out.
However, as someone who is very skeptical that the rapture is even biblical (the concept wasn't even invented until th 19th century), I probably would still have a problem naming Yahweh as the reason for the occurrence. After all, there may be other religions I haven't read about that have similar stories. I wouldn't want to jump on the Christian bandwagon simply because I was ignorant of others that may be more "right" towards the situation.
No doubt, though, it is purely a hypothetical....

Well, if every Christian just disapeared, I doubt I could still not believe, I mean come on. Christian pilots couldn't just disapear out of planes without some kind of miracle. I would use logic to realize that you guys were telling the truth, and then I'd do some soul searching. After that, I'd throw a party, and celebrate.

In this hypothetical situation, in that Christians just disapeared:
It would be a prophecy that humans would be unable to fulfill ourselves. That would be the evidence I require to know that there is a God. It would be enough to scare the hell out of me, and I would probably become Christian.

It would be obvious that your 'rapture' had taken place. Much excited discussion would take place over the likelihood - in the face of this first bit of solid evidence for it - that God actually existed.
This has, of course, as much chance of happening as Santa's trousers being discovered stuck in a chimney.

Actually the pre-tribulation rapture theory is not Biblical.
But if the tribulation type thing did happen
( there are certain signs I'm "looking" for )
I might call out to God again.

It would AFFECT my thinking, not effect it. Please learn the difference.
I suppose at first I would wonder who was playing a trick on me. Then I would begin to worry, but would then be stoked that half the world's population is gone so finally I'll be able to drive on the freeway at teh speed limit...
The Rapture is actually discussed in the Bible? I wasnt aware of that...

all this left behind stuff is not how its going to happen, that is just a way for the 2 authors to make millions of dollars, if you read carefully, it happen nothing like that at all, THERE IS NO SECRET RAPTURE, Jesus is coming back, but it won't be a secret. People.... quit wasting your time talking about what jenkins and lahaye wrote in a series of books and look and read what the bible says, there IS NO SECRET RAPTURE!

I'm being totally serious. I would be quite happy in a world of just a few million very intelligent atheists. It would be very exciting. I couldn't care less that you'd all be gone.

"would you assume it was some kind of aleins that took them away?"
Makes just as much sense as the Christian beliefs, really. No, I would not believe in your particular god.
