When people think of angels. I think they had you on mind.
You are behind words. I am truly speechless. When I think of you all I can possibly say, WOW, who else but Pangel ((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))

You are one of the sweetest people around here. I really, truly, and honestly like you.

Yes they are therapeutic...A big warm bear creates a feeling within you that can't be substituted by anything else.

My fiance and I realised something the other day. Some nights we sleep cuddling each other almost the whole night, and after those nights, we wake up feeling energetic, happy and relaxed. If we don't end up hugging so much we tend to wake up feeling less invigorated and happy.

So hugs are definitely therapeutic. Hugs say more than words ever can in many situations and even the virtual ones touch peoples hearts.

Maria I gave you a thumbs up :)...I understand how you feel, I use to feel like that and still do at times. The thumbs downers were just mean...

Well, thank you, Pangel for the VHUGS. You're ight we need at least a hug a day. Maria, I'm so sorry that you find it hard to be a touchy kind of person but, I'm sure you find you needs fulfilled in other ways and I DID balance your thumbs down with one UP of my own.

AuntB, I'm so sorry that you don't get very many R/T hugs. If I were nearby I'd certainly go OUT of my way just to make sure that you had one at least occasionally. The human touch is one of those basic needs that we ALL have and nothing takes the palce of a R/T hug, for sure.

As soon as I saw the "Did you know that?" - I knew I would be smiling. Sure enough I click and read and there's a smile. Thank you!
I also like all the "answers" to this question. Very nice to see so many good people; off sets the negative of so many stories in the news.
Peace!

Yes...the Japanese and Chinese (mostly) don't do enough of that. Perhaps that is why they are so distant sometimes. People avoid contact with each other. In Japan (Tokyo mostly) you can hear a pin drop in an absolutely packed (like sardines) train. I learned to do that after I came to the US.
Also like you pointed out earlier, laughter is good for the soul.

So, lets laugh, lets hug and lets dance, tooooonight.......yeah
(Donna Summers) LOL

Oh yeah lets sing too.

Thanks for your kind thoughts

If I really needed four hugs a day for survival, I'd have been dead months ago. I don't have anyone to hug me in 3-space except on rare occasions. I appreciate your virtual hugs more than you realize, but I'm not certain they have quite the therapeutic value.

The way it was explained to me, we need touch to reassure us that we are real. I guess I've concluded that I am indeed real, so I have survived with this huge hug deficit.

I want two hugs now, one for yesterday and one for today. I've been abscent yesterday. A hug is so relieving and supporting especially from family members and friends. Thanks.

(((Pangel)))

Edit; BTW, why don't you make a specialization in hugs. (((Pangel)))

Sorry, I don't touch, but I will look at all of you with a quiet, approving smile, okay?

Why do I get thumbs down for that? THAT isn't very nice :-(
I am just not a "touchy" type of person; I like my distance, so I thought approving quietly was the next best thing? Please, show some kindness, balance my thumb down :-)

Enjoy your hugs!
