i do no longer likely have a spiritual view on it different than i think of it relatively is a sin that the funeral homestead costs extra money to the family participants if the organs are donated. I never knew that till my grandmother died in Florida. God bless.

To Dee:Only your soul gets resurrected not your body. Your body stays in the ground. I think organ donation is fine when you are dead but you should check with an Imam at your local mosque to get a more accurate answer.

Of course not, there was no such thing in the Time of the Prophet so there is no direct Hadith concerning this. But it is obvious that God would not forbid us from helping others, after all the Quran does say :
if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if h e saved the life of the whole people.

I think the Koran says you can only donate your organs by splattering them all over a marketplace.

when you die your body and soul go back to God, meaning every part. i guess some people do i dont know what happens to them. but anyway yeah Islam is against it
