Note, I would still be a homsexual after I repented.
I'm not really gay, I'm just curious about the subject.

If you look in the Old Testament, in Leviticus 18:22

22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

Anything detestable should be cut off from the people.

BUT,

In the New Testament, Christ died for us, our sins.

Romans 3:22-31

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We are save through grace in our Lord Jesus.

Basiclly, Sin is Sin. Whatever disobedience against God is sin.

We are saved by grace, it is a free gift from God. If we turn from our sins and believe in Jesus as our Savior, we are redeemed. So yes, if you repent, heaven is open to anyone who believes.

The Bible does state in 1 Corithians 6 that homosexuality is wrong. However, as stated in the earlier comment, Jesus accepts everyone.

Everyone has sinned and falls short of God's perfection, if not sexually than through other vices or downfalls. But belief in Christ and repentance of sin prevents delivery to Hell.

To repent means to change your mind, to turn around and go the opposite direction. Therefore if you repent of the sin of homosexuality, you would no longer commit this sin and thus would no longer be a homosexual. This does not mean you would no longer be tempted to commit this sin.The same applies to any sin.If you are truly sorry for your sins-all of them-and repent of those sins-all of them- and accept God's free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ by making Him Lord and Saviour of your life then you will be saved from the punishment for those sins, which is death and hell.

NONE OF US KNOWS FOR SURE!

We can only repeat what the law says.

Leviticus 18:22You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

Now the law is clear but in this same chapter it says not to have sex with another man's wife, your brother's wife, animals etc. I ask all of those who answered and the asker to read the entire chapter, because it also lists the punishments of these offenses. I see nothing about going to hell or suffering God's wrath.

Leviticus 18:29 'For whoever does any of these abominations, those persons who do so shall be cut off from among their people.

30'Thus you are to keep My charge, that you do not practice any of the abominable customs which have been practiced before you, so as not to defile yourselves with them; I am the LORD your God.'"

You will be cut off from your people. Do not follow the rantings of man Brother. Open your heart and pray. The MOST HIGH has all that is needed.

anyone can be saved, its a gift from God. but you have to mean it. if you repent that means that you are VERY SORRY and will try not to do it again. if you know that you will still be gay then theres no point in repenting unless you are going to change. i believe in once saved always saved. but you have to be sencere about asking for forgiveness and ask him into your heart. in the bible it says only a man and women sleep togther. they also have to be married to each other. he also said, "a man and man having a sexual relationship is sinful and they both will be punished." but like i said before, you can repent, but you cannot do it again or the pray did not have any meaning. God Bless

It says that being a homosexual is a sin. It does not say you are going to Hell for it.
People that think being gay means hell is waiting for you are idiots....no offense to anyone. lol

If you sin...oh well. John 3:16 says that "who so ever believes in him, will not perish, but have everlasting life"
It does NOT say "Who so ever that believes in him, will perish if they dont repent and wont have ever lasting life"

You dont have to repent for every little thing you do....Unless your a catholic.
And all the verses that say disclaimers about being gay are in the OLD testemate!!!! DUH! Meaning they dont allpy anymore....unless your a Jew and you only believe half of the bible.

Later!

Ok, repenting and feeling sorrow for the commited sin equals forgiveness. Homosexuality is a sin, but you choose to act on those homosexual feelings. If you repent those feelings you will be saved. But if you still act on those homosexual feelings you will go to hell.

you go to hell if your name is not in the book of life and if you have not recieved eternal life. God used sexualy immoral men and women and perverts who repented and turned toward him too, which means not only can you be saved, but you can do great things for God. If you repent then I'd start asking God for the victory over the temptation and stronghold of what we call homosexuality. It doesn't matter what kind of sinner you are... to say that you can't be saved is to say that Jesus failed

I don't think any human has the right to say someone is going to hell. As for sins..envy and calling someone a fool are also sins..I never met anyone who wasn't a sinner. If forgiveness covers one sin, it covers them all.

After you repent you will not be a homosexual
If you are a thief and repent, then you no longer steal, so are no longer a thief.
Homosexuality is a decision not a born trait. Sometimes this decision is formed in peoples lives by the way they are raised, but they decide..
