Would it be OK to date someone much younger?

Question

Say you are twenty. You take part in an experiment and go into suspended animation for sixty years. When you waken up you are eighty years old, but you still look and feel twenty. Would it be OK to date people sixty years younger, or would you have to date other old people like yourself?

Would people think you were weird when you told them your age, if you looked sixty years younger than you actually were?

And would you be able to get a job or would you have to live in a retirement home, even though you looked twenty?

You might not have that much in common with them but I don't see any problem with dating anyone of any legal age who is emotionally mature enough to date. The Sci-Fi angle is actually irrelevant when you think about it.

Age is a state of mind I suppose. If you were in suspended animation then you haven't lived or aged 60 years. So I'd go with the living like a 20 year old. But if your really sixty and asking if it's okay to date a 20 year old - that is so many kinds of wrong.

I guess that would be personal as some seniors like dating people young enough to be their grand kids. Retirement is not a required thing as long as you can do a job you don't have to quit b/c you are old. Yes people would wonder when you told your real age. But would you really age being suspended?

lol, O.k. I don't know if your a man or woman. I was married to a man 12 years older, loved it. However, let's put it this way, some woman usually think it is sick if a woman dates a man way older then her, and Im not sure if it is the same if a woman dates a guy way, way younger than her. So what I have to say to this... Who cares...... make your own judgement.

U got too many IFS.It hasn`t happen Yet.But if I was 60`s and I get the opportunity to date a 20 yr. old,I`m going all the WAY.I hope that asn, ur Q`s.

The simple answer is that you would only be 80 as far as the calendar is concerned but biologically and mentally you would be twenty - and that's the bit that counts!

It all depends on how you relate to people.


Obviously, you wouldn't have much in common with a bunch of geezers.


BUT in "real life" and old geezer and a youngster have very little in common other than a mutual love of $$$$$$$$$ (See hugh hefner as an example)
