In Buddhism there is no "converting".
Everyone must find their own different truth.
The basics in what I believe and practise though are these :
The Lord Buddha, The Four Noble Truths, Karma and
The Cycle of Rebirth .

First of all, Buddhism is not a religion but a philosophy. They don't believe in a diety or god you see.
