This was once my question to others as how to get rid of this dirty product in hair. In winters, or in dusty environs, it used to aggravate. But after trying many things, including rinsing with lemon juice, applying once in a while mehendi paste, this shampoo, that shampoo, I came to a conclusion that still this devil is attacking my hair. Actually dandruff is a fungal layer on the scalp, formed at the root of the hair, and causes itching, irritation etc. Coming to the point, I found great relief in washing my hair thorouly by Himalayan Anti-dandruff shampoo, purely an ayurvedic product. Use this shampoo twice a week or thrice in fifteen days, and use normal coconut hairoil. I found great relief and my hair healthy and shining. Good luck my friend.

Why is this in the police section? I think that's the last thing a cop will bother with.
If you have tried over the counter dandruff shampoo like Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue, etc., and that hasn't helped, you can try prescription dandruff shampoo, and if that doesn't work, there is something called Temovate by Rx that will do it. Worked for me! Dandruff is a fungus that causes dry skin. It is treatable, you just need the right product.

Hi there !
There is no "permanent cure" for dandruff...only thing is by using some special shampoos, you can minimise the psychological and subsequent physiological itchy feeling...
One of the shampoos which have been very effective for many had been "head and shoulders "..though some others are also available in the market...
But you have to use the shampoo twice in a week, to start with and later on , minimise the frequency...
or else, get the opinion from your friendly dermatologist in the nearby hospital !
best wishes !

Head and Shoulders is a good idea. First buy and use a clarifying shampoo, this shampoo will put off any build-up left in the back of by way of other shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. Use the clarifying shampoo at the least 3 days in a row, and then use dandruff shampoo, however use clarifier at least 1 time per week. Utilizing your fingertips massage your scalp day-to-day, this may increasingly develop the blood glide and nautral oil construction so that it will enhance a healty scalp. Which you could additionally use an astringent reminiscent of Sea Breeze, earlier than shampooing, conserving head again so liquid won't run in eyes, pour sea breeze over scalp and therapeutic massage, then shampoo.

There is a shampoo called Tegrin (which can be bought at Wal-Mart for about $8 a bottle). It's in a clear bottle. The shampoo is a dark brown color. It smells really bad, but it works really well. It's only needed every couple of days. Always use a regular shampoo afterwards though because like I said, the smell is terrible!

Okay I had the same problem mine was suvere, so heres a moms solution, You get two cups 1 cup of viniger just regular vingear and the other water mix it together then shampoo your hair first scrub it using yoru finger nails I know it hurts but its necessary then get the vinegar mixed with water and close your eyes slowly poor it in yoru hair scrub and poor more until its all gone. this will do alot one exfoliate your skin and second refresh natural oils, after words use a conditioner and dont have the conditioner set in your hair just wash it like regular. and your done. do that once aweek the dandriff will slowly go away. i did it when i was 10 and i dont have that problem any more.

The best way to get rid of it is shampoo it every day until it goes away. and use dandruff shampoo, or shave your head and shampoo it.
