He took him and left he is 9 months old. I dont have the money to go get a big fancy lawyer. I just dont know what to do.

does he have apaternity test if not call the police and tell them he took him and if they ask if he is the father tell them u dont know the court will usually place the child back into your custody until the paternity is proven then it will have to go into the whole custody battle if he has paternity rights and has been proven to be the father then possesion is 9/10 of the law is valid with children too so u will have to go to the courts to situate that

Go to the Juvenile and Domestic and go to the Intake office and file for custody, if nothing else he will have to answer to a Judge for why he did what he did. You don't need a lawyer to do it. Good Luck!
