I read Society and Culture a lot because it has some interesting stuff but so many of the questions are from R&S. I don't really have a problem with that except the majority (it seems) is all about atheists and theists having their little battles.
My question is: Why can't you leave each other alone?!?! That way I don't have to read 10 questions a page about the never ending battle between you two. You both have valid points but they've already been made a 100X's before. Get over it!

Let me just make it clear, I don't click on them but I see them on the questions page as I'm looking for actual stuff that's worth reading.

Think of R & S as a debate. We debate issues on religion, spirituality, atheist, christianism..ecetera. We may argue back and forth but there's always that one person who will take knowledge from what is said, learn thing they never learned, and finally understand something they haven't understood before. We all benefit from others responses whether good or bad and it is great ot listen and learn and share your point if views. Why it keeps R & S alive and kicking. Besides you can't have an argument if you don't have someone to oppose your own views and beliefs. I really like to share my opinions and get feedback on it from a non- professional point of view but an ordinary individuals own thoughts and beliefs. If you don't like all the fuss I suggest you find somewhere else to waste your thoughts.

Much of the "battle" I would characterize as misdefining. And much of what I have done here is define the words atheist and atheism. I've lost count of how many time I've written that the prefix 'a' means not or without.
Most of the rest I see here is not so much battle as petty sniping.

that is like saying: i am so bored of books dealing with the II world war and asking the local library to throw them all away...a better solution would be, maybe: not reading them????

use the forget user function. then you will not see them.
