I advise anyone who has a weakness in the area of their chest to have the flu shot, as Australia has just been through its flu season and we had alot of deaths this year. Mainly children but there was two adults. There is also a head cold going around which I got and ended up with bronchitis and the head cold starts with an unusual cough.

No, because I am in my early 30's and healthy. I am smart enough to realize that the flu shots are for the very young, the elderly, and people like yourself who have medical conditions that require an extra dose of protection. I still hope that I don't get the flu, but if I do I'll get over it!

No, I haven't the past three years. I noticed, with me, every time I get the shot I end up with the flu or a bad cold. So, I'm not getting it this year either.

Of course, I have severe heart trouble and can't risk a severe case of the flu, and it doesn't really hurt.
I would rather be safe than sorry. A little stick is nothing compared to the flu.

No chance in heck will I get one. I have never gotten one and since being an adult have never gotten the flu. Everyone I know that hasn't gotten one doesn't get the flu but every few years. But everyone I know that does get one gets the flu every single year really bad. So no way!!
