I herad a history of voodoo and it said that voodoo came from africa as a religion. But it said that africans practice voodoo to communicate with their ancerstors from way back. And first of alll i don't berlive voodoo is the work of the devil. Look at the chinese and the indians they worship different gods and budha and know one ever said that it was something evil. I think hollywood is the one to blame for suh terrible things like this. It's not the devil work the africans used it to communicate with their ancestors.

It's a mixture of Catholicism and African religions. It has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with demons.

The Bible tells that, anything that is not of God is of the Devil. I truly believe voodoo is the work of the Devil. And it shows. God sends his judgement upon those who practice voodoo. If we look @ Africa many hunger many pestilence. Haiti where the main Relgion is voodoo is the poorest country in the world. And lastly New Orleans where there is a large population of French Creole Haiti background. It is also said that much voodoo took place there. It is also one of the poorest States in the Unites States with the highest crime rate in the nation Mardi Gras Is a Festival where pretty much anything goes. It is a abomination to God. Coincidence? So you see anything that is not of The Lord is of the Devil. And God surely sends his judgement on the ppl who practice these things.

Vodou/Voodoo/Vodun is an African ancestor-based spiritual system. It has been vilified by the dominant culture as part of its justification for the enslavement of African people as well as continued abuses against Africans and the diaspora long after the end of the black holocaust. Like all spiritual systems, when practiced well, Vodou can lead to tremendous spiritual growth.

No.

It is a combination of ancestor worship and numerous other tyraditions that it has encountered over the centuries. There is no "Satan" or "Akuma" or whatever involved. There are good or malicious spirits in Voodoun, but they are not the same as the Christian concepts of demons and devils.

Christians, of course, will tell you that anything that is not their religion is "Satanic". It's part of their defense against different ideas and perspectives. They have a vested interest in not learning anything more about the world beyond comic-book-like portrayals of other faiths.

a lot of human beings's theory of GOD is purely an imaginary being. Religions base in this theory of GOD are pyramid scheme. They ask you to donate your perplexing earned money for an afterlife in heaven that doesn't exist. They threaten you with an afterlife in hell in case you do no longer donate. each and every thing are created by potential for the duration of the evolution technique. potential can not be created or destroyed even though it relatively is recycled and reuse. Reincarnation is the recycled and reuse of this potential. life is supported by potential and whilst dying happens, the potential are reincarnated for yet another life. as a result, potential is the organic explaination of GOD. People who practice voodoo are cursed

Voodoo is widely practiced in Hades and its one of the poorest countries in the world. The god of the people of Hades is satan and it shows.

Another example is New Orleans. The people of New Orleans practiced voodoo. They danced around like idiots on Ash Wednesday exposing themselves to each other. The city is now in ruins.

Ha! Actually many people have said Buddhism is "evil".
As for Voodoo being so, that's entirely up to any ones speculation.
I don't think that though.

It's from west African religions, that's all. I grew up in New Orleans. Most voodoo folks hid behind the Catholic faith, substituting saints for loas. Clever.

People have a tendency to label anything they don't understand bad. They didn't understand Africa, it's people or Gods..so they were frightened when they saw that Voodoo had power. So they label ed it demonic.
