Well, my parents did divorce and I stayed with my mother and I am glad that I did. I am 53 years old now and sad to say that my beautiful mother died the day before my 19th birthday from a heart attack and all I have are memories and a few pictures. So take lots lots of pictures and write down all the wonderful times that you have together no matter who you stay with and love them both. You only get one set of parents and they may not love each other anymore but they will always love you!

When my parents divorced, Dad stayed with us, and Mom moved out. It was their mutual agreement to do it that way.
Divorce was much rarer then, and the father having custody almost unheard of.

I know this is kinda bad, but I would chose my stepdad. ^^ I love my mom and all, but me and my dad.....he's been there for me since I was 5, and I will always remember that, and besides, me and my dad get along better. Now, I would viste my mom and all, but I would live with my dad, but sadly, I have no control over who I go with, since he's my step and they arn't really married.

Awwwwwww i guess it depends on who you are closer with. Usually the Mom gets the children but not always. which ever one can care for the child best. It's tough
